Just because everybody has the means to do something, doesn't auto entail that they should/have the ability/workrate etc etc...

In a market where supply massively outstrips demand for entertainment & media services, all you can do is create the best product/give the best service you humanly can.

Sure, some people will still accept crap into their lives but if a service/product etc is literally brilliant/stunning, it can only turn heads.
Quality will always be recognised, and people should have the right to demand quality before parting with their hard earned!

Re: The irritations of social media

Ha! At least you look at it from a objective point of view.

Hooky just winds me up and doesn't help new Manchester music for various reasons. This new label thing sounds like a disaster.

Re: Hacienda Records

Thanks Anastacia!

Re: Hacienda Records

Good blog post! Nice constructive criticism, IMO. I'm a younger person who happens to like some of the so-called 'old-school' stuff as well as the newer dance music, but when I want to listen to old school tunes, I'd listen to an actual old school one. Not a song that deliberately tries to copy the past.

Re: RIP David Carradine

I've always been curious to learn more about Carradine's mysterious death.
